Shin black is the best packaged ramen I've had so far. Waiting for a discount on that.

Its the same flavor profile as shin ramyun (red bag) but stir fry and spicier. Not as spicy as buldak noodles. They're pretty good imo

Not a fan of these, one of the few I don't like. Only flavor I get is spicy. Buldak are better if you're looking for spice with flavor.

It really is fantastic. I've tried a lot of different ramens over the years, shin black is my favorite.

Same here. A bit pricey compared to other Ramens but worth it.

Have you tried Nissin Raoh Tonkotsu?
Best Tonkotsu IMO.
Add an egg, some greens, and homemade char shu... .mmmmm.
That Nongshim Tonkotsu at Costco is trash in comparison.

These were just ok - nothing great, nothing bad - just ok. I'd recommend just buying 1 single noodle pack and seeing if you like it or not. Sure it may cost more per unit basis (compared to a 4 pack) but thats all you need to quell the curiosity...at least thats what I would've done in hindsight.

Nobody is making homemade chashu to put in instant noodles... had to say that. nod

Shin is fine, but I like the multitude of flavors of Chinese instant noodles.

If adventurous and ok paying $4-5 a pack. You really need to give these a try.

MyKuali Penang White Curry Ramen

Prima Taste Singapore Wholegrain Laksa LaMian

I have found MyKuali at H Mart / 99 Ranch Market for better prices than Amazon. Prima Taste I have only found on line. The Whole wheat version is the one to seek out.

For Shin Black fans the South Korean version is superior, probably not worth double the price of USA made, but you can buy them from SK sellers on eBay if you want to give it try. Just confirm they are the SK version as the USA made is peddled a lot on eBay.I have two packs left from a 4 pack purchase and this thread is reminding me it's time to have another. Bon appetite.

I've eaten a ton of korean ramyeon and this flavor sucks im pretty sure I threw the remaining away or used the noodles in budaejjigae. It's basically bery light and acidic spice taste with no flavoring behind it. Shin black is better.
I recommend namja ramyeon for a general use one.
