Can you surf the web on the Google TV? What's the difference between google, fire, Roku, and Samsung? Thanks in advance
These TV interfaces aren't intended for surfing the web. They are more for finding & recommending streaming content (although they can load apps for gaming and other stuff), and the primary differences include how they display content in their home screens, where they show ads, and the speed of the interfaces. I have Android TV (precursor to Google TV), Roku TV, and Fire TV in my home, and I prefer Android TV>>Roku TV>>Fire TV.
Two different company licence holders. Amberlight are offered on TVs made by TPV. They have the Philips licence for the rest of the world. The Philips North American licence was with now bankrupt Funai and now the licence is with Skyworth.
Throw a LED light bar behind the TV and plug into the USB port for power. I did this and it works great.
There's no great way of matching the content on the screen, especially for internal contents and not from an external device. The only way is Govee like external camera. But other external light sources can also affect it.

Or use the Philips hue gradient strip for tvs and the Philips sync box, then it works the same as on PC.

- Every so often (~ 5 times ), I'd have to force close a streaming application like Netflix.
- I may have had to power cycle (unplug power cable) once.
- Had to adjust color settings it for best results; haven't touched it since.
I use it with a 3.1 speaker with avr.Sign up for a Slickdeals account to remove this ad.
