I picked up a set of these last time they were on sale. They are nice for areas where you just need a bit of light to get through, find a light switch, etc. I have one in my furnace room and another on a wall leading to the basement. They need charged about once every 2 months with intermittent usage. I wouldn't expect them to last very long as counter lights used for hours at a time.

Great for pantries, a closet in a bedroom if you don't want to turn the lights on and disturb your partner.

I have installed these under my kitchen cabinets, and the posters here are 100% correct that the batteries don't last very long for such use. I had to recharge every 3 days or so initially, and now after they are over a year old they barely last a full day. if you're installing this in a less frequented place, they should be ok.
