TLC DRAMless for those that want to know the specs. Decent price but unknown brand. Some reliability concerns, might be related to the W11 update that seemed to be killing SSDs a while back.

So basically consider no warranty or support?

Klevv and SK Hynix share the same parent conglomerate. Klevv is a brand of Essencore.
Essencore and SK Hynix are both subsidiaries of SK Group.

I have this drive and regret buying it. I would not recommend it. Its performance is quite poor for a TLC drive. It also has a buggy controller that runs hot as hell. When used as an OS drive, even when mostly idle, it sits in the 50-60C range, and that's with a real heatsink (not the joke it comes with). That's a solid 10C higher than the next hottest drive I've used runs WITHOUT a heatsink.

Not a no-name brand. Iirc Klevv has been around for a while in the RAM market. They make decent stuff.

Bought this exact ssd on Amazon just a week ago. No problems yet but even with the "heatsink" it comes with, it runs at 55 deg. C when idle. Plus it does not include the mounting standoff or screw that you need to actually mount it to your motherboard.

It wasn't Win11 that was killing the drives, it was people who bought drives that were "rescued" from the dumpster and sold with some QA firmware and not the retail firmware.

Edit: I know it's still the popular thing to dunk on Microsoft at every opportunity, but there's really no need. They legitimately screw up plenty of things, so you'll still be spoilt for choice, don't worry.

And yes, I know they don't actually say that the devices in question were from dumpster divers, but it's the most probable explanation for how a bunch of consumers wound up with devices running a firmware not intended for general use. A batch fails QA testing, gets tossed out, someone "saves" them and flogs them on eBay/AliExpress/Amazon Marketplace/ for what seems like an unbelievably good price. People buy them, things go titsup, and instead of doing the work of figuring out what the actual problem is... blame Microsoft because... fark it, I'm lazy!

Klevv is legit and I think it's Korean. I don't have experience with their warranty process though.
