I would dip them in Chlorox for 24hrs or steam them before use ;-)
"Clorox" but a good alcohol wipe and a Q-tip and you should be good.

These are open ear headphones. None of its part can go inside the ear canal.
btw, open headphones paired with garmin varia (phone on handlebar) has made my rides lot more enjoyable.

#1 - After a couple of months, battery won't hold a charge for very long
#2 - Earbuds remained connected to Bluetooth after putting them back in case. Then, phone calls would come in and I couldn't hear anything. And, battery drains while in case since they're still connected.

I did receive replacements under warranty but I've had better luck with the cheap no name brands and sound quality is about the same.
