had these for a few years now. the sound staging is great, the build quality is solid but the mics aren't the best

I've had a pair of these for a few years. Really like the sound quality and the ANC is pretty good, but I loathe the fit. I've tried several different foam ear tips from stock to aftermarket and just can't find any that will reliably stay in place with movement.

I think you already know xm5 is better in general. The question is do you want to risk with the common hinge issue with xm5 and the size form factor being bigger but lighter
