No, it wasn't. The lowest was $1549 just a month or two ago, not just once, but 3 times. Goes to show people would upvote just about anything without searching here:

Paying $1500 for a 1080p screen in 2025 is laughable anyway (unless you realllllly need the extra battery life, which means you wouldn't shop for this anyway).
