LOL that was exactly what I was looking for. Great how Honda seems to have settled on that filter for many models - Odyssey, CRV, Pilot and Ridgeline use it (at least newer years).

Nice, thanks! I missed that for some reason. Ordered 2 ONE filters. Thats a better deal than BOSS at 8.xx unless you really do go ~20K miles between oil changes. I change my oil once a year, often with <10K miles between oil changes. So ONE works perfectly fine for us.

Although the fitment check does not state it, the PL14610 also work for 2012 Nissan Altima 2.5 (my 2nd car) - they are slightly larger in size, but the thread is identical. So instead of 4.9 qt I pour 5 full quarts in my Altima, which is any way more convenient for me. I prefer it over PBL14612 / PL14612

I learn so much from you posters! I love getting a slightly larger filter for the same money. I only drive 3K a year but will buy the boss filters since they have superior hot and cold flow through the filter.

Anyone here know how the BOSS filters are different from the Purolator 20K filters sold at Walmart? Both are rated for 20K miles and 99% filter efficiency.

The 14610 is the filter for 1998-06 Altimas, while 14612 is for 2002-20 Altimas. So Altimas from 2002-06 have both filters as the recommended filter. The QR25DE engine really hasn't changed that much all these year; they all look the same under the hood. There's a BITOG discussion that mentioned the filter change was likely due to the EPA pressuring car manufacturers to use smaller filters to reduce the amount of used oil ending up in landfills, but clearly the bigger filter has always worked on Altimas.

The Purolator one you are buying is also a well constructed filter. I hate to say it but the new version is made in South Korea and appears to be better made with more filter material than the US version.

I will stick with Purolator ONE for now.

For 20K miles, I will either go with Puralotor 20K (exclusive at Walmart) or FRAM Ultra Synthetic - both have pretty decent efficiency despite BOSS having a full synthetic media (only 45 microns at 99% vs 20 microns for FRAM Ultra Synthetic). But even then, I would never go 20K miles between oil changes, no matter the marketing claims. For me its once a year at under 10K miles.. and my old oil still looks good when I do the oil change; so I know I am not doing it too late.
