I finished my first play-through a few days ago and it was an incredible ride. I played the Director's Cut of Death Stranding 1 first and hopped right into the second game. It's an incredibly enjoyable game to play, and honestly very cozy (which is quite the opposite to the loneliness of the first game). The story is great, has a large dollop of Certified Kojima Moments (in a good way), and concludes Sam's story in a heartfelt and satisfying way. There's really no other game out there like Death Stranding, and if it clicks with you, you'll become a delivery sicko like me. Keep on keeping on!

They still have this used on Gamefly for 50. Comes to 56.15 for me with shipping and tax. Worth a consider.

I think you'll get a lot more out of the sequel. It's MGS5 levels of fun, whereas the first game overall felt kinda boring. The story takes a backseat, but is kinda low key compelling. Overall every system from the first game is more engaging and the end result is a game I loved.

Yeah this game rules. So much more enjoyable than DS1. Made me like Kojima again.

Well, the second one has a much larger balance of the core concept with combat mixed in-- more boss battles, enemy camps, enemy types, a bunch more weapons. But reading your comment I have a feeling you didn't play the first one for very long-- I'm assuming you put it down after a short play time?

I bought the Collectors Edition of the first one just so I could have the Bridge Baby.....creepiest night light evah. I played the game, got bored, ate a pb&j. If I'm going to deliver packages, I want a brown uniform, big box truck, and money.
