Haven't found a clear answer but does anyone know what the maximum clearance between desk and bottom monitor (a 27 inch) would be? Want to place my 16 inch MBP there and run a triple stacked setup.

I was kind of curious myself so I went and found the product manual on Huanuo's website but it doesn't really say much. Of course the clearance also depends on the size of the monitors you're stacking but there are some Amazon customer review photos that may give you a decent idea.

One in particular shows dual G9s stacked and it looks like they have some room to still move up.

Worst case... return to Amazon if it doesn't work out!

it isn't though it is equal to 2 27 monitors side by side. I run a quad monitor setup 3 across and one accessory up top and I was looking at the 49 inch monitors and I would loose a lot of screen space going to those. I like it for immersion you get the stuff moving in your periphery. the setup is even better for gaming with a Tobii Eye Tracker!

If you have a "mega-monitor setup", there is a near-zero chance 2x 49 inch monitors weigh less than 40 lbs, which is this unit's max rating.

For most models, but some of the QD-OLED ultrawides would clear (the MSI, for example, is 18.XX each without the stand).
