I bought this card intending to return it. However now that it's being sold at 2k instead of 3k. Does anyone know if I can return the card then purchase it back?

You should be able to return it if it's in the return window
why is this getting down votes when $2K for a ASUS 5090 is an insanely good price?
$2k is far from a good price, it's just a better price than what we have seen so far in the 50 series lineup. It is a very solid card and works very well.
These are constantly in stock, you just have to be very quick to buy one because at $2k they get snapped up fast.
I picked up mine from the Egg and it's a really good card. $2k imo is to much for just gaming but if you have a business need the TUF 5090 id solid.
I'm not going to argue that the prices of GPUs compared to the other parts aren't inflated as all hell, i mean CPUs and ram are comparatively CHEAPER now than they've ever been.
However, considering many types of hobbies including photography and cars and guns and collecting things... Gaming is definitely on the cheaper side, especially of you're patient and wait for sales.
You can also argue that the 5090 will give you the best return on investment compared to the other GPUs. That is of course if they release a Ti or Super 5090. That would be a huge kick in the nards.

Good question. Not sure. I have heard some complaints about the thermal paste application on these. Not sure if I can trust it. 2K is also insane for any GPU considering how small the jump in quality is from 5080

Edit- Nevermind- you can't checkout from the basket- you have to click "Buy Now".
