I bought one in May for the same price. I use it to light up the charcoal and cut down the wait time by a lot. I bought the 1lb to 20lb propane hose converter and a tank should last a very long time.

It's a flame thrower, almost too strong for kitchen use. I seared some onion and ginger in a pan with aluminum foil underneath, pretty much disintegrated the aluminum foil.

It's a flame thrower, almost too strong for kitchen use. I seared some onion and ginger in a pan with aluminum foil underneath, pretty much disintegrated the aluminum foil.
