I would rather use a charger with multiple output and put one device on each so each device can negociate its optimal votage and current.

lots of my kids toys are chargeable and most of them are USBC nowadays. Now with a single usb-c charging port, he can charge up to 4 things (switch pro controller, credit card, etc)… there's no need for ultra fast charging and they'll be charging overnight anyway

After a photo walk, I will connect a multi-usb-c cable to my DJI Osmo Action 4, Pocket 3, X100V and a battery pack and power it with a 65W GaN charging brick. Everything gets fully charged and I don't have to micro manage it.
I bought some from aliexpress a few years ago, usb a to four micro usb. Work great for 18650 charger/tester boards
To do anything else, you'd need to have a controller and negotiate both upstream and downstream with current protection, that's a lot of electronics to pack into a cable, especially at the prices these go for.
Which is fine for lots of low end electronics. You generally use these to charge your misc usb device overnight without having to find the correct cable every damn time.
it is crap keep your money in your pocket
I mean, they may not charge ultra fast, but for low power devices or devices you intend to charge overnight, it's very convenient.
