I've had one set up in the back yard for two and a half summers now, to keep bees away from a brightly colored outdoor kids toy. Maybe the sunlight was rough on it, but by the start of this summer, the top started to rip as the poles tensioned it. I tried putting duct tape over it but it didn't stick too well. I can probably get another year of use out of it since it doesn't need to be rainproof, but for repeated setup or frequent use you might be better with a rip-stop fabric. (my gash is about 20 inches by now)
