I prefer to have an assorted bitset for whatever I may need, and then a bunch of replacement common bits (T25 and Philips #2). If you use them enough, like for a living, youll burn through them quick. Alternatively, if you ever hand your impact off to someone to help you out they almost always destroy at least one bit.

I would like 2-3 of each so as they wear or I lose one there is the next. I like Bosch bits. No chance I am building a pole barn, cabinets I enjoy.

I frequently find myself shopping for bits and thinking 'why the hell would I want all these random sized bits I'll never use, just give me a bunch of t30's which is what everyone in my position will need.

Those bit sets with a bunch of sizes are fine and all, but I feel like most people never use more than 2-3 different sizes.
