Biggest difference is that 2024 is the latest LTSC release — longer support (Office 2021 ends in fall 2026, while 2024 goes until fall 2029), runs smoother on Win11, plus some nice little upgrades like new Excel functions and a faster Outlook. Not a game changer, but nice if you plan to stick with Office for years. I think so.

Just to add a caveat: This is likely a license meant for bulk hardware manufacturers or enterprise systems. In my case, I had an earlier version of Office running just fine, from a similar site. But once I upgraded my graphics card, the license no longer worked. It was looking at the hardware of my setup, and the change caused the license to not activate. I tried for awhile to re-activate it, but eventually gave up. I'm trying out LibreOffice, and so far it's been working well.
