The bad reviews of this speaker are not kind at all in regards to volume and sound quality but there are also very few bad reviews which makes me wonder if people didn't get lemons. It might be worth a shot and certainly doesn't hurt to try at this price. I'll still be a huge advocate for the Boomcore though. having two of them in stereo pair is incredible for the price.
