You're going to want the season pass which is included in the Gold edition.

I purchased these off of Ubisoft back in 2020 during a super sale and haven't gotten around to them yet and with Ubi these days who knows how long I'll have with them.

I can't decide if I love Origins or not. Feels boring-ish but I keep intentionally playing it and find myself upset when my Steam Deck battery gets low (thus I have to stop playing or charge). So far about 15 hours in.

Thoughts:
-The whole Egypt concept is really cool and well done
-I find the searching for random box thing a little annoying
-Traversing the world takes way too long.
-bought the base game, there is so much content there I am not sure someone really needs to buy a upgraded edition before you try the base game.

This is my favorite of the series. The setting is incredible, more so if you have an interest in ancient history and Ptolemaic Egypt / Rome around the end of the Republic. Bayek is a great protagonist. It still looks like a million dollars. For this price it's an incredible value.

I just read on Steam you just need to make a 3rd party account with Ubisoft, and it will ask for login.

Honestly man, every Assassin's Creed game (with one notable exception) is incredibly repetitive and shallow with poor game-play once you get past the novelty of being a cool assassin in an open world.
The only good AC game is Black Flag because it has an awesome sailing / pirating element that's actually really fun. Otherwise it's truly one of the worst, most repetitive and overrated gaming franchises that's ever existed.

Amen, it is starting to wear at me but I do dig the setting and world building. But I've gotten 20 hours of it so I can't complain too much for the price paid. I'll probably try Black Flag, the older AC stuff doesn't look my speed though because it all appears so heavy into stealth. This gameplay loop is very Ubisoft in general (as are the 80 million unlocks, loot tiers that mean almost nothing, half dozen game play systems that don't need to be there, etc). FWIW, I normally like the formula better....when there are guns involved at least.

Wonder if there are any mods where I can use a helicopter and rocket launcher???? Ghost Recon: Ancient Egypt sounds like my jam Wink
