12700k is slower than 14600k both in multi core test and single core test. But you don't need to worry about 13th/14th instability issue.

Single core, maybe yes, slightly better. But multi core, it's unfair for a 6C12T compared with a 12C20T. 9600x is about 3 years newer than 12700k, but all these years there is no such a great improvement for CPUs.
