a group of friends could buy some old warehouse and put a couple of these in there. would be super nice. it already has plumbing and electric set up. you would just need to set it down and hook it up.

A friend of mine got one of these prefab/module houses and couldnt place it because it's counted as a permanent structure (non mobile home with wheels below it) and the way the structure was built did not follow the new building codes. Make sure you check out the codes for your city before you purchase it. Luckily he was able to resell it, and made a small profit off of it. If your city doesnt allow those barn cabin or steel container homes, you more than likely cant place one of these. If you live in a rural area outside of city limits, you'll more than likely be ok.

One of his problems was they installed an RV style fuse/circuit breaker panel instead of a regular house one, which is a no no. Also something about the electrical wiring, the outside wall "studs" did not meet the minimum requirements, etc.
