On paper, this looks like a great spec'd laptop at a reasonable price. Is there anything I'm blatantly over missing?

Have a P14s AMD Gen4 - very similar specs, just slightly older hardware - battery life isn't the best - maybe because of the OLED screen. Maybe 4-5 hours.

AI summary of 79 reviews from Lenovo site: "...It delivers solid performance and operates with minimal noise under most conditions. The device handles heavy tasks easily, making it a great choice for students, professionals, and those who need a mobile workstation. However, some users have reported issues with noticeable coil whine, occasional screen flickering, and poor battery life, especially under medium workloads. The fan can also become quite loud during intensive tasks, and the laptop can get very hot, making it uncomfortable to use on the lap."

I also own the P14s AMD Gen4. I'll second the terrible battery life. Good laptop otherwise.

That's the thing about Ryzen laptops, you have to put up with their Milquetoast GPUs, no matter the spec.

The ThinkPad P16s Gen 4 has an 86Wh battery and is also on sale for $1239 but of course it's larger and heavier than the P14s. Here's a deal for one.

There's a version of the P16s posted in that deal with a 1920x1200 IPS non-touch display that's $1189, $50 cheaper than the OLED model but I don't know if that makes battery life better or worse.

There's also a P16s model with 64gb RAM and the 1920x1200 IPS non-touch display for $1329.

Especially considering the OLED screen. I feel like a lot of people will be disappointed in the battery life on this particular model.

Have you tried Econ mode on battery? I tried a T14s AMD AI 7 and it down clocks to 2Ghz. But I rarely go on battery. On Econ mode you can feel it slow down but still plenty of speed compared to older intel models I've used. You want good battery life get a mac if you can learn that ecosystem. I'm sticking with windows.
