Seems like it's more to keep the stuff locked away from kids, which it works fine for. I have the (bigger) gun safe version. It works well enough. I don't have kids though, so I don't know why I got it lol. But it's not bad.

Bolt cutters and it's gone. I just put all my small valuables in an empty protein powder jug in the pantry. Theoretically very easy to steal, but zero chance a thief would check there / find it.

This is a gun safe, and it can be used for other purposes
It has a Bluetooth app and battery, the only con about this is that the box is not sealed so humidity gets in, I put sealing strip and it's doing a fine job

put them in ziplock bags and put the powder on top. even more discrete. assuming thief doesn;t throw it after opening.
