Give it time, this TV only just came out within the past few months. Actually, now that I look it up, this is cheaper than its predecessor was at this point last year (B4 48" sale price of $700 early October)

deal ends 9/29. this is a good price, I don't think we will see the 500 or 550 we saw with the B4 anymore

Hope the 65 inch hits $799 like the B4 did last Holiday season.

I heard on YouTube that this year's lower tier LG models (like this one) removed some features from older versions of the same tier of TV sets to save money. Also, I don't know if I trust a TV that is so A.I. focused.

It's a solid OLED, don't worry about the differences between B4 and B5 as they are minor. Only major difference is when watching a 4k disc, for some reason the B5 doesn't support DTS audio pass though.

I asked Grok, and it said the panel isn't as bright in SDR, and maybe the panel overall is "nerfed" in some scenarios, other things really don't matter. And the upgrades are very negligible(basically just the A8 upgrade and webOS, which weren't significant).

Got my 48" B4 for $550, and sold my 55" C7 for $200 to someone who very much needed an upgrade, no regrets now knowing B5 is basically not an upgrade from B4.

Lucky I saw this post! Purchased the B5 earlier this month for $750. I was able to get the price match adjusted in the app for a credit! Thanks 👍🏻

Burn in is a risk with any OLED TV, not s much as it was with Plasma TVs, but it can still happen. Especially if you are using it on a static desktop screen.
