I've had had the 55 for about 3 years now - I bought it for $150 then. A good beginner's running watch and great GPS. When I first bought it, the battery lasted about 3 weeks on a charge (using the GPS twice a week for about 2 hours each time!). Even with gentle charging the battery life drops quickly, After year 1, it barely lasted 2 weeks. Now, I am lucky to get 5 days with about an hour of GPS on.
