Trying to understand your perspective here... Does this deal not "look like crap" because it's heavily discounted (and most posts are not) or because it has the potential to be lethal (and most posts do not)?
I have been a Slickdeals user for 20+ years now, I have just became an archer for 2+ years now, and I do feel bad about killing an innocent animal. But this is a very good deal!
Shall we not judge, but just take things for the ways they are. There are people who are old tradition and looking to experience the old traditional hunting fashion. Lets hope those hunters takes kindness and humane methods to hunt an animal, and put it out of its misery as soon as possible. In the case of an apocalyptic event, these professional hunters are whom we will depend on to bring food to the table (just like every nation always in need of readily available soldiers to protect their country).
Whether its lethal or useful, it's up to the scenario. Also, all archery equipment is considered a sport equipment and not a weapon. Remember, you can kill a person with a kitchen knife or a hammer as well.
