The single color printer is $292.77...if you want the multi-color bundle it's $395.20 for the 4 color add on and for the 2x4 bundle it's $850.72.

Actually I've purchased two of these combos from this same seller. It ships from NJ and it does contain the 4 color AMS combo which is a fantastic deal. However the coupon code posted wouldn't work but I did find a $25 off that got it down to $271 shipped. I bought this when it was on super sale a couple months back for $245 but anything under $300 for the combo is pretty good in my opinion.
These are decent little printers for bed slingers. I've not had any issues with mine. I also own a Kobra 3 MAX, Bambu P1S, Elegoo Centauri Carbon and have a Snapmaker U1 on order.

I also bought the anycubic kobra 3 v2 combo from a previous deal, where the combo ended up being $271 + tax, HOWEVER this deal is not that deal. If you go to the link, it clearly states as you click through the options, the printer itself is approximately $287, combo is $389, and combo + extra ace is $845. This is not a deal compared to the previous slickdeal.

How does the Kobra 3 v2 compare to the Bambu and Elegoo you have?

You can't really compare apples to apples there. This is a bedslinger and the other two are core x/y with enclosed chambers. The V2 has a slightly smaller build size whereas the Bambu and Elegoo are 256m. But for smaller functional prints I really like the V2.

You are correct on under $300 being a good deal, but this specific deal says it's for the combo, and yet the link they posted is only for the Kobra printer. If you go to the link OP shared it just says "K3 V2" and when you change to the combo the price goes up to $390. Anyone ordering this and expecting the AMS is going to be disappointed.

I've noticed that most people who comment on these threads will have two or 3 printers at least. May I ask why? It's a genuine question, not shading any choices.
I've been trying to decide if buying a 3d printer is right for me. There are one or two items I might be interested in printing (sphero sprk+ replacement shells being 1) but I go back and forth on whether to get one and if it's worth it to me.
For a bit of context where I live the $1 in my currency is worth half a US$1 so a printer will be twice as expensive before we factor in shipping and duties.
Also what would be the sweet spot for a beginner's printer in terms of price and usability.
Many thanks to anyone who reads this. Double thanks if you choose to respond.

Good question! Firstly, it's nice to be able to print replacement parts or upgrades from a separate machine... If you have to perform maintenance/service on one, at least the other one is running. Secondly, depending on what you want to produce, it may be beneficial to have two printers running a multi-part project at once, to cut down on material changes and finish the project faster. Thirdly and probably most accurately, we are likely nerds that want the latest best version without giving up our older ones - - the older printers required a lot of effort and tinkering, but with wise upgrading, can still perform decently compared to newer units.
