Why does Amazon skim on the RAM memory with just 3GB? That is why the Fire tablets lag so much. You need at least 6GB of RAM memory nowaday. Even my 7 years old Galaxy Note 8 phone has 6GB of RAM memory which still makes it quite useable in 2025.

POS too slow for kids to even play games unless you wanna just use kindle and watch videos. Wait for the upgraded version

Fire tablets were fine a few years ago but you are better off buying a used 9th gen ipad for about $160. yes its double the price but amazon's best tablet is the max 11 which uses a variant of the helio g99 which is half as fast as a 9th gen ipad and is basically locked to the fire store(as this is, fire toolbox only somewhat works). this tablet is even slower than that g99...
buy if you are planning to use for surveillance cam or some other semipassive use, avoid if web etc.

The worst tablet you can get. Slow as molasses. Who ever is butt hurt downvoting facts needs to come to their senses.
