It's not a miracle worker and doesn't replace A/C in hot environments.
Basically, it's a very heat-conductive blanket, Think of how you touch a metal surface; it feels cool because it pulls heat away from your body. Eventually (and fairly fast, like 30 minutes) you'll saturate the blanket with heat and it won't feel that cool anymore as it reaches your skin temperature. But it still is better than a normal blanket because it pulls heat and then distributes it over a large area to cool itself down. But again not a miracle worker, if the room is hot, it won't be that effective dissipating its own heat, but leagues better than a normal blanket, which works to insulate the heat.
It's slippery like 2xSilk sheets and very thin.
It's VERY slippery, and very Thin. You'll want to get a size larger than whatever you were thinking as it thin and tends to bunch up while sleeping. This is because it's slippery and moves very easily causing it to accumilate off you. Having more means it's harder to fall off you completely.
