FYI Niiiimrod printers are RFID-locked to their own thermal paper brand, so no 3rd party label compatibility. They're following the crappy HP printer proprietary ink/toner model

A lot of people choose not to support anti-competitive practices like this regardless of the immediate value because the long-term economics are not in favor of consumers. I find it useful to share this information so that like-minded people can make informed decisions

Had an expensive label printer that did this back in the day. We just cut out the RFID from the official roll and taped it inside the printer

just pull the RFID sticker from the OEM labels and stick onto generic labels. Works great.
I don't think that works with this brand, they actively rewrite the RFID tag during use. For example, the following vid was a workaround that was closed it appears (added shielding): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CsaJETCCsTk
Not saying there isn't another way to get around this (or maybe it differs among models) but I'd rather support another company anyway

Great price but only uses RFID branded labels $$$. Look at other Bluetooth label printers and they may be a few bucks more but will take generic thermal labels that cost a lot less...

Not only that but I've read where this one lets you take an online screenshot or screenshot from niimbot app of a created label and you can just print it as a graphic directly with this printer software.

Don't forget a lot of the advanced fonts and graphics are behind a subscription. So it's gonna cost like $100 a year to use this printer.

Can you just tape the chip to the printer then use generic labels? Similar to the RFID was l refrigerator water filters?
My question too.
