I have been on the lookout for this Reolink Doorbell for a little while to replace an existing subscription-based device. As with Reolink's lineup, this can work subscription free either directly (from an install SD card over wifi), with a Reolink Home Hub (safely inside the house), or even to an FTP server (for Home Assistant fans).
The last time this deal reached the Front Page was for $90 this past July. So $51.99 NEW (not open-box or refurbished) looks like a great deal for me. I've been watching out and the price has consistently been $100-120 from various vendors. I don't expect a major new model update soon, but even if one does show up, I'll save more money over the next 3 months without a subscription than the device costs.
This is one of 3 models: this wired one (black), a white version (identical size, but the sensor is vertically-aligned), and a battery version. This deal is only for the black wired version.
