All Tineco's are made in China, it would make no sense to ship em back to be refurbished.
Which factory is refurbishing these?

Great vac. Had ours for almost 4 years and the battery and washable filters have held up great with daily use. Bought some cheap replacement filters (few dollars on Amazon) to swap when when washing/drying the original filter to have no down time. Would defintiely recommend.

anyone have experience with Allstate vs square? eBay listing is a few dollars more but comes with Allstate warranty

If the A10 essentials is anything like the A10 Hero, that was a nightmare vacuum. If the rotating parts in the head got clogged with hair it would burn out the battery. Killed a replacement battery too. Almost turned me back to the over priced Dyson's before I discovered Samsung's Jet series. Although for $65 it's probably a good deal, replacement battery was around $50.

I have experience with Allstate. My Xbox controller got stick drift, because of course. I called and took elaborate notes... they asked if I wanted a replacement or the money...I chose the money and I got a check 3 to 4 weeks later for about 90% of what I paid. I used the controller for 3 years, so it was like leasing an Xbox Controller for $4 a year. Definitely worth it.

my turbo button stopped working but the biggest issue i have is with the design and the lack of filter in their bin chamber. it looks like you are picking up a lot of dirt but really your not. sure it looks impressive. can't remember the term but I'd take a look on the design of the machine. it's lightweight but I feel you are not doing any true cleaning more ease to pick stuff up

So these things are OKish. Just realize that they sell them with TWO heads... one for CARPETS and one for FLOORS. This one only comes with the carpet head... if you have alot of floors I would not get this one but one either for floors or make sure you can buy it separate.
