I'm not the guy you're replying to, but yeah.....that's kinda his whole point. Pre-builts will give you the specs, but without the actual brand/model of the parts it's hard to tell how good of a value it is. And specifically when it comes to mobo's, RAM, and power supplies, some of these companies end up really cheaping out on those components. Which can drastically affect everything including performance, longevity, features, and future upgradeabilty. Many of these companies change out specific parts depending on what they can source at the time they build your specific machine, but they'll at least give you a set of commonly used brands/models, or something like "equivalent or better than XXX" part.

I don't blame you. It would be easier to buy knowing what parts are in there, especially the power supply.

Skytech usually sends name brand components, though probably the cheaper models.
I bought one 4-5(?) years ago with a 5600x and a 6700xt that I used for awhile before upgrading some things and giving most of it to a friend. Mobo and GPU were ASUS (Prime B550-PLUS AC-HES, and 6700xt Dual). Gigabyte PSU that I think was C-tier on whatever list (so fine but not great), stock CPU cooler.
The only thing that felt like they really cheaped out on were the fans, the case was kind of a Meshify knockoff and looked fine but definitely not the same quality even before opening it up.
You won't get no-name components but they are probably getting cheaper or maybe mid-grade things for most of whatever is in there. If you don't like building and can't wait this seems like a halfway decent deal though you will likely find something better around black Friday. I made this on PC partpicker with not quite the cheapest components and it was $2091 without any extra fans or Windows and likely lower quality.

Some deal with all of these types of prebuilt computers the CPU, Video Card, RAM and (sometimes but not always, the motherboard) are great but they cut cost by using cheap unbranded components : power supplies, fans, cables, USB/HDMI ports.

I purchased Skytech back when the 2080ti was top tier. Every component was top quality and I still have this PC running today. It runs everything I throw at it still so I gave it to my son and built a new one recently. The PSU was a Gamdias which has been solid. That was the only low end part. I'll reference the link from the one I bought.

Hope this helps anyone wondering about Skytech and their build quality. I'm sure just like with every manufacturer there will be some duds. Cheers 🍻

I have purchased two. One around the 1080ti came out worked fine. Then i upgraded to one with a 4070ti when that was cool. Both lasted. Only issue i ever had was my power supply on my first one died. replaced it no problem. I bought both through amazon and they both shipped with no problems and both worked out of the box with no issues

I purchased an open box computer of theirs from Amazon a couple years ago, and it arrived with a broken GPU. It was a good deal, so instead of immediately sending it back to Amazon, I decided to try my luck with Skytech support. I was up front, it was open box from Amazon, came broken, probably sent some pictures and troubleshooting steps to show I knew it was definitely dead. They were super nice and shipped me a brand new GPU. That experience made me a huge fan, I'd recommend them.
