These seem to be a better option and is a 6 pack especially for anyone needing it sooner than next week. Shows fastest delivery Oct 8th for me. https://a.co/d/2ZroTKA

purchased July 2025. used several times, more than abused.
have not rusted yet (Ive tried). My last comment the blade isn't straight, but for my use of diy weekend warrior and I'm gonna use and abuse.. these were perfect for the price.
These are so sharp that I've easily cut myself on them
+1 for this comment. They are extremely sharp I ended up using them to cut open boxes. Beware these are not like the smooth putty knives you'd get at Lowe's.

Exact same handle design, only different color. Probably made at the same factory. Ordered a set - ETA tomorrow for me.
Decent price, can't say you'll find anything that comes close to this price but you probably won't use all of these in the set and will still need at least one larger taping knife. On the low end I've seen Warner have a "DIY" series that includes value grade knives. Not very comfortable for long term use but great for repair jobs or disposable purposes, maybe for putty or spackling. Red Devil has a nice value series as well which is available at Menards and Rural King. However...if you are going to finish a whole room you will never regret buying quality tools like Purdy, Warner, Marshalltown, Wal-Board, or Kraft to name a few. Level 5 is great too but that's like the "Snap-on" of drywall finishing tools.
The basic set will get you far...a small 3" joint knife for embedding tape, a 6" for going over that and a 10" or 12" taping knife for feathering out your joints. You could probably get away with just a 6 and 12...buy fewer tools but higher quality would be an ideal compromise. Everyone has their own opinion when it comes to drywall work!
keep these suckers dry and oiled when not in use or they will rust when used with hot mud. or invest in some stainless steel ones that will last forever.

I will say they are quite sharp and even so you get a nice clean cut when applying spackle or putty.
Worth the price.
