Do we think the external portable for terabyte SSD's are gonna get much cheaper for prime day?. I'm ready to buy, but I don't know if I'll save another 1015 bucks.

From all the drives I've had, crucial or WD drives never crashed on me. Toshiba and seagate firecuda failed.

Oh, commented on the Pro version of this. I don't know what the difference is. But my non-Pro version, like it a lot, speedy. Got it for $185 back in July's Amazon Days. I'll try waiting another week, or wait for BF.

samsung t5 evo. t5 evo speed is rated as ~460mb/s, and this x9 is rated as ~1050mb/s but t5 evo is faster. x9 gets very slow once it gets hot as well. it's small (so it looks good), but it gets hot very fast.

This or the X10 for $239? X10 is advertised at 2100MB/s.
