these are crap. per samsonite reps, don't but single wheel suitcases. I had 2 and right out of the box, they would get stuck on surface and flip. samsonite gave me money back and I bought different ones.

I used to own this bag and it was quite a good bag for travel. In a 5 year span, I took probably about 12 trips to Europe and the only issue is that the single wheels don't take kindly to European cobblestone/mini title sidewalks. Thankfully, you can remove those wheels and find Chinese replacement parts if one is so inclined, but that is the only shortcoming (single wheel spinner vs a double wheel). The PC shell will get scratched up, but it holds up quite well and I didn't have any cracks throughout those 5 years.

i have the 3 set, 20/24/28. dont recommend. the wheels suck on carpet. pushing it by the handle but it doesnt want to move. get a set with spinner wheels. i paid about $200 for the set from woot. fooled again by woot shame on me wont get fooled again

these are crap. per samsonite reps, don't but single wheel suitcases. I had 2 and right out of the box, they would get stuck on surface and flip. samsonite gave me money back and I bought different ones.

how did you get a refund? did you buy direct from samsonite?

I got the full 3 piece set via Samsonite's eBay account back in 2016 for $199. I lived overseas for much of that time, and traveled extensively. Still going strong.

I got it through one of the deals on here from Macy's or similar retailer. Contacted samsonite under warranty, they told me drop them off at one of the stores for repair. I did, the replaced the wheels with the same crap and same issue. they gave me a choice 200 credit for each suitcase or keep them i got 200 credit and bought new suitcases at their store. originally paid for mine 50 or 60 each, but they gave me 200 for each.

I have three of these and have used them extensively in the last 7 years. Single wheel sucks but other than this, it's quality.

I would skip this deal and wait for the Omni 2 to go on sale. The Omni 2 wheels are much better.

Dual wheel is better but single wheel is ok for 20" if your travel destinations don't have too rough pathways. What's ridiculous is I have a 24" with single wheel. That should have never been made.

I am currently going through this rabbit hole, this bag and maybe every bag on Amazon exceed the current size limit for a carryon on US Airlines. anyone got ideas besides saying they got lucky because I make my own luck

I agree with this. I have one of these and I hate it. Doesn't even roll smoothly on perfect airport flooring.
