VA panel
Have you seen this monitor in person? If I'm not mistaken, in the TV world, all Mini-Led panels are VA. The lower end, cheap, smaller TVs use IPS.

VA panels are slow and so monitor manufacturers have to use tricks to speed them up which leads to issues. I generally avoid monitors that use VA panels for gaming.

Are there any reviews from reputable sources? Last time I looked I just saw fluff PR pieces from rando YouTubers. I've been tempted by this monitor for a while but I want to wait for actual reviews. Yes it's an edge lit VA with the usual tradeoffs that entails, but Samsung's other high end VA monitors get excellent reviews on Rtings.

I'm looking for an ultra wide to replace my current 34" IPS monitor, for full-time WFH and occasional gaming. The other large ultrawide options are 40" IPS panels with mediocre gaming performance, and they're much more expensive with office-oriented features like integrated hub/dock/KVM. Or the LG OLED 45" ultrawide, which is disqualified by the burn in risk from 40 hours/week displaying a very static mix of Office apps and browser windows.

I'm not quite ready to bite on this one, but maybe will later if there are good reviews. Or hopefully there will be more competition in this space next year (ideally mini-LED!)
