I don't know, but I can tell you I was severely disappointed when it doesn't do anything to cat hair which isn't that different. I bought one last sale and it is literally just paperweight. Was a bummer too as I wanted to get off Lint Rollers but I guess it is what it is.

You'll need One of those sticky lint removers, or the lint remover brush for fur

as an owner of two cats that shed their entire body worth of hair weekly, i can tell you all there is no panacea for cat hair. products like this never work. the best solution is prevention by frequent brushing and combing as well as having a set of clothes you only wear at home. nothing else works. some things help (sticky lint roller, rubber balls in dryer to attract hair) but you'll still have hair. realistically, once the hair is on your clothes, youve already lost and must lint roll aggressively until the stubborn ones remain then pick those off with your hands.

It has 7800 reviews... either it's one of those Amazon scam practices where this pile of reviews is actually for dozens of different products. Or this is a decent product?

I think the big issue is their mis-wording of the word "lint". this isn't a lint remover, it's a "fabric shaver" - it gets rid of pilling that occurs on fabrics, but they're calling that "lint"

these generally don't really good job at removing pilling, but it won't do much for lint or dog/cat hair

This is why I can't date girls with cats

Thos isn't aint remover. It shaves the bubbling on cloths. Pretty useful to remove the ugly lint bubbles on t-shirts
