the real deal is snagging the mx master v3 for a discount. When one of the new features of the v4 is that it is easier to clean compared to v3, the marketing dept was working overtime to sell consumers these "new" features.

yeah. logitech is just milking the new versions while providing essentially nothing new. outside of the usb c, i dont evne feel the need to upgrade my mx master 2. definitely dont feel the need to get the 4.

I would trade my mx master 2 in a heart beat (stupid thumb button); for a 3. 4 too expensive rn lol.

This! usb-c is really the only reason to upgrade. My original mx2 had the issue where it was getting stuck. I would have loved to get an mx3, just because of the usb-c, but I could not resist a brand new mx2 for $30 in Walmart about 6 months ago. I was so tempted by the refurb mx3 for $50 a few days ago, but I can wait. I'll just have to hold on to that mini USB cable
