That's a good deal.
You can get a travel case for free at Logitech with a purchase at $119 if you need one.

the real deal is snagging the mx master v3 for a discount. When one of the new features of the v4 is that it is easier to clean compared to v3, the marketing dept was working overtime to sell consumers these "new" features.

I returned 3S because of silent clicker, but I am willing to give this one a try

yeah. logitech is just milking the new versions while providing essentially nothing new. outside of the usb c, i dont evne feel the need to upgrade my mx master 2. definitely dont feel the need to get the 4.

I would trade my mx master 2 in a heart beat (stupid thumb button); for a 3. 4 too expensive rn lol.

This! usb-c is really the only reason to upgrade. My original mx2 had the issue where it was getting stuck. I would have loved to get an mx3, just because of the usb-c, but I could not resist a brand new mx2 for $30 in Walmart about 6 months ago. I was so tempted by the refurb mx3 for $50 a few days ago, but I can wait. I'll just have to hold on to that mini USB cable

Still no on-board memory, which means you can't even use this on a corporate computer that doesn't allow 3rd party software.

Hopefully it doesn't have the same coating as the 3S that gets sticky and gross after a year.

I like that the MX 2 is a bit larger than the MX 3 but the USB-C and the thumb scrolling that the MX 3 have are winners for me.

Did they fix the double left click?

You mean you aren't annoyed to tears by the awkward placement and constant misclicking of those awful side buttons? You must have small fingers because I think they're the worst positioned buttons I've ever had on a mouse. They're right on top of each other!

In all fairness, the coating on MX3 is not that great. I was gone from home for about a month and when I came back touching the mouse felt so sticky. I would rather have it out of plastic instead of this weird rubber.

Wait, I'm confused... if today is launch day for the mx 4, why do all 11 of my local Best Buy locations not have any in stock? Is this supposed to be an "online only" launch or something?

Can confirm. The thumb rest area, the material is rubbing off like dead skin on my grey MX3. I use it as a "beater" mouse at work since I don't care for this design anymore. I love my verticle ergo MX mouse for home setup, and so far, so good.
