i got the non remote control version from costco in 2023 for $50 each
works well, but my only gripe was that since it's a touch on/off switch, it won't work with smart plugs.
i couldn't place the fan too high up but with a remote, this won't be an issue

great deal with remote control for $30

*edit* nevermind they emailed saying no remote

For those wondering--this is a mostly plastic model. Vornado is a premium priced product, but I'd probably either pay $100 for their all metal design products, or $10 for another brand of plastic desk fan.

If it's the Costco one it's mostly metal construction. I, like samiam185 bought one in 2022-2023 for around $50 from Costco for my bedroom and love it. So I purchased another one a year later for my office. They seem pretty great quality and my bedroom one has been used for 8 to 12 hrs a night, 7 nights a week without as much as a squeak or whine or buzz. It just goes!! So I bought 2 more, at this price why not.

Does anyone know if this can be tilted down? I've found a lot of these smaller fans tend to only tilt upwards - like the regular style Vornado circulator. I want to place it on a high shelf.

Really agree on the touch on/off switch. I try to get physical switches to use with smart plugs too.

I have this fan and use it daily.
Be aware it hums very loud at low power. Well, at all levels of power, but it's particularly noticeable at low power.
I like it for sleeping because I treat it as white noise but I could see some finding it jarring.

The smaller version can be tilted downward. This version looks to be the same as the smaller version in that regard but I don't own this larger version to say for certain.

Edit: Found a youtube video review and can confirm it points downward.

Just something that might to be added to the original post... If I'm not just unclear how to use this site then this deal doesn't go live for another 8 hours unless you're a member which has a monthly fee. Using this fan more than 3 years. this model is hella difficult to clean with disassemble the case. have to use a long nozzle Philip screwdriver inorder to take apart. Quality is okay.
