It's $3 off $2.49. Unless tax is over 20%, it should be enough to more than cover the tax. By contrast, Walgreens doesn't charge tax on their free after coupon products.

Because CVS still has to charge tax on the purchase. It's a $3 coupon, which isn't enough to cover the cost and the tax of the purchase. The item isn't free. You're just using a coupon.

I don't want any razors with lubricant strips... Don't like how all new ones have them these days 🙄

Coupon isn't on the product page.

Great deal. CVS app still sucks. Sign in, deal disappears. Eventually got it. They also try to estimate charge for bags. Why would I need a bag?

Signing in kills the coupon. I've seen the coupon potentially on the page without signing in, but once you sign in, it's gone.

After signing in, coupon appears momentarily and then disappears and can't be activated. If not signed in, it's shown prominently but asks you to sign in.
