Great price if you have a hard budget preventing you from spending more. However, Beam Gen 2 is noticeably better imho and I'd recommend even at a higher price point.
Yup… picked up a Sub Mini for 299… now 2 of my spare bedrooms and my loft are complete…
one bedroom has a Ray, Play: 1's Sub Mini…
another has a Beam gen 1, Play: 1's and Sub Mini.
Loft has an Arc gen 1, Play: 1's and Sub gen 3
Play 5's gen 1 in stereo pair with a Bluetooth receiver in the garage
Sonos Connect S2 compatible hooked to my Living Room Home Theater
Sonos Connect S1 compatible connected to my Master Bedroom system
And I have a Roam… roaming around.
All are Sonos refurbished except the Beam and Roam. Got those off Facebook Marketplace for a pretty decent deal
I have Sonos in most of my house… they're great for what they do… I'm a big fan… saying that, they will never be as good nor replace my wired systems in my master and my living room.

Love my refurb Beam Gen 1 for Homeassistant / Music Assistant. I don't have a screen hooked up to it so can't comment there. Worth picking up another at this price.

They're listed for $600, and they have $100 off for Plus members (a new Plus membership is $50). And Amex has an offer for $25 off $250 there.
$530 refurbished versus $525 new.
