As an FYI, it appears this bag is not made by the Pelican company that creates high-quality hard cases and the like... I assumed it was but the product page on Amazon shows kayaks, paddle boards, paddles etc... Upon closer inspection, the pelican is also facing the opposite direction compared to official Pelican brand.

That said, I believe Pelican kayaks are carried by Dicks Sporting Goods and are decent quality. Hope this helps others that may be on the fence.

Still an established outdoor company (since 1968) based in Canada. They make amazing rotomolded coolers too, and I've had one for about 6 years and broke the hasps (my fault, hit them with the tire of my truck) and got quick free warranty support. I have some of their smaller dry bags and phone holders for the kayaks.

They never said in their description that the bas was made of PVC mixed with lead! Those are really toxic for your health and represent a direct risk of cancer. At least add a description of what's being used to make the bag.

There are two different companies, the other one is not "official".
Pelican Products, American, founded in 1976. Makes cases, coolers, flashlights, etc.
Pelican International, Canadian, founded in 1968. Makes kayaks, canoes, boating accessories, etc. This company offers the ExoDry bags profiled in this post
