Obviously ymmv, but I picked up an "excellent" condition one last night and was pleasantly surprised to not find any dead pixels. There was some shmutz on the inside of the plastic protective sheet over the screen, but no scratches or damage as far as I can tell. Now I just need to put together my new PC this weekend so I can give it a thorough test. Free return within 14 days it I find something I don't like.

My best monitor ever. I do not recommend going more hz than this cuz of the VRR issue with OLED. My LG 480hz one kinda bothers me with it but this one works fine at least for me.

That was a different model (G61SD vs G60SD) with a lower refresh rate. That seems to be the only difference between the two models, though. I don't know if that would make a noticeable difference in VRR flicker or anything else.

I got the Samsung 34" 1440p 165hz monitor yesterday. Is this worth getting for double the price? I have a 5080 gpu.

Hell of a lot better off with a 980ti than 1050ti!
