I had to pick it up from the store to get the clearance price.

The good news is that there were plenty left, in San Jose. The bad news, though, is that I'm legally blind for at least another few minutes...

Both out of stock and $30 for me.

I too have the older 1000 lumen model. Micro USB on that one. Only thing I do not like is there is no indication of when the battery is nearing end of life. It does not gradually dim, just shuts off.

These have lithium batteries in them.

I suspect you've found a lot which needs to be liquidated because they are old enough that there's a worry the batteries will go flat and once that happens, they are dead.

This deal probably won't replicate at other stores, unless they also have lots with a similar ship date.

My nearby stores has lots of these lights, but none of them are on sale.

Maybe some of these are older and that is why they are sold but It might be worth keeping an eye on the price for the next few weeks especially if they have an inventory of 70+. I have had more than once HD's that were late to the game on clearance that came through nearby. The store that I bought these from did not even have the price updated from the previous price of $26. Just a thought in case your store may make the price lower later.

When I arrived at 10:00 the Milpitas, CA in-store inventory showed 15 in stock but there were only 11 on the shelf. I bought 2. YMMV.

Each package includes 2 USB-C cables for the posted version. My old one uses Micro-USB.
