I did the same thing.. picked up an Ender 3 from a microcenter deal and it was a total pain in the ass. Terrible first impression to 3d printing.
EXACTLY. It was always barely working.

Thanks. That's the info I needed. I'm always trying to get my Ender 3 working, with successful prints being more common than unsuccessful.
i spent all night assembling mine, and leveling the bed before they have CR bed leveling. it was depressing.Never got it perfect.

Bought this a couple of hours ago. Had several issues with the promo code until going back and reading the original post. Adding payment method to my account first, then buy now, then apply promo worked

But if you dry the filament ahead of time does it really matter if it's exposed for a 6hr print in most normal conditions?
For PLA it honestly doesn't matter as much even if you never dry it. PLA is *very* forgiving and doesn't absorb much. Unless you're constantly at 90+% humidity, I wouldn't worry about it too much.

I'm not. I dry mine if I leave it out and windows open. I dry my PETG and TPU anytime I use it though

I am getting about 20 dollars in additional fees when I go to check out (I'm assuming tax?), so my out the door total is closer to 270. Is that what most everyone else is seeing?

That's comparing Apples to Oranges. Or, well, it's more like comparing a MacBook to an Acer Chromebook.

This one will probably do well, and might take a little bit of work to get printing correctly. You may be fine and you might have issues. Printing will take a little bit more work than it would with the Bambu, but then again it's also 1/3 of the price.

The Bambu is way more expensive, but it's super easy, faster, and more reliable. If you're not techie and don't want to tinker with the printer/app, then the Bambu is the way you want to go.

Ordered mine last week on previous deal. Came quickly and already have printed a few things. Very happy with this purchase! Would recommend for anyone wanting to try 3D printing!
