very good board. there mid tier before you reach enthusiast level. good power delivery. 279 still seems a bit high personally if this board was around $250 I think it would sell way better. but I wouldn't argue over $30-

I had tons of issues with this board when it was on sale not too long ago for $269. Random freezing, memtest86 would shut down my PC, BSOD. Not sure what it was, but I spent a week trying to figure it out. I really liked this board too, but I didn't want to deal with going through the same hassle and returned it. Maybe I just got a bad board, but it drove me nuts for a week and didn't want to deal with another lemon. There are others having weird issues on the MSI_gaming subreddit. The BIOS version of the board was from January and I upgraded it to the latest non-beta before doing anything. I decided to risk getting MSI again since I found a good deal on a used X870e Tomahawk, which is just the black version of this board and it's been great.

That's funny cause I just read in a different thread how MSI is the one brand they had a good experience on this board. Now I'm all confused lol

there are some others that have issues with theirs, not sure of the numbers, but people on the msi gaming subreddit have complained also
