I stocked up on generic 16 oz peanut butter at Lidl or Aldi for $1 each recently.
Recommend checking your local supermarkets periodically - might beat this.

as a rule, 3 things are tasty. sugar, fat and salt. "reduced fat" they have to make up for that flavor somehow and I wouldn't doubt the pea protein is to enhance the texture after removing the fat (peanut oil). just saying there's a reason why "low fat" stuff tends to be higher in sugar/salt and/or taste worse.
