Again, all the revenue I'm seeing is in research and investment, less so acquiring revenue. Hopefully someone finds a use case that doesn't get walked back. Otherwise, damn this is going to be an impressive bubble lol
not sure what you mean. companies are already paying millions for ai just to perform their day to day business. it's already deeply incorporated into all business workflows and making tons of revenue.

There's certainly many companies trying to varying degrees of success. There's also companies that bought into the "it can do everything" that are either struggling and/or walking the goals back.

Xbox sinking fast, hats off to Microsoft.
They are doing better than ever.. Sony makes one of their 5-6 aging IP every 5-8 years, so people invested in that wouldn't understand. The value is good for actual gamers. They add so many games regularly which we can play natively on PC or console, and cloud stream through a phone or tablet. I don't pay retail price though, I think 3rd party is still the way to go.

My favorite part are the YouTube "streamers" that try to trash the Xbox division, yet still don't even know how game pass works.

Currently cheaper to buy 3 month cards of PC gamepass which converts to 2 months of Ultimate.

currently $36 on Amazon so that's $18 per month of Ultimate converted.
Isn't PSPLUS cheaper?

Better to do 3 month Game Pass Core. It's 32 days per now. It was 45.

I think EA Play conversion is the best way to go. It's $30 at Target
https://www.target.com/p/ea-play--12-month-membership---xbox-series-x-s-xbox-one--digital---no-aasa/... [target.com]

If you don't have a current subscription, it works out to $12.50/month.

I tried converting EA Play into Game Pass Premium, but it didn't work. Luckily, it allowed me to cancel for a full refund and sign up for Ultimate.

Those with a subscription, $15/month.

These converted to 1.5 months for me just now so it's the same $20 a month price.

GPU was always a loss leader just like costco hotdogs and Microsoft is finally cashing in

All you have to do is play one new full price game a month and the sub will already pay for itself

Or pay 80$ to play one game that you may not even like

One game costs $70 and people are crying about $30 a month? I don't like the suddenness of the price hike but it's still a tremendous value to me.

holy shit ultimate costs $30 now?? i paid $6.67/mo for 3 years... 2.5 years ago. there's no way I'm paying $20/mo as a slick deal moving forward
Same for me. My son plays Xbox exclusively or this would be an easy "no" for me but now I'll need to evaluate.
