Go for the non-coated, keep them out of the dishwasher, plus get a decent countertop manual sharpener; and these knives can do a LOT of cooking.

Used to be a Macy's 25 minutes down the road.. now the nearest one is over an hour away. But all three sets could be picked up today if I ordered now, and then no shipping. If you have a Macys nearby, this is a good deal.

They claim that the end cap is stainless steel. It is going to rust very quickly, not worth it.

4.6 out of 5, and 806 reviews. So it is indeed a good product. At this price, great for Christmas gift exchange too.

Same way pots and pans count the lids in the 'piece' tally. The sets that come with a butcher block stand always count the butcher block.

Actually five knives and five protective sleeves. The count is misleading on purpose.
